NMN Springboard……….

 NMN Springboard……….

We all have been hoping wholeheartedly to avail unlimited talks by Mr. Narendra Naidu. We very well know his wide range of oratorship. He puts forth the heart wrenching story of Baba Amte as efficiently as he simplifies the complexity of Developmental Biology! He can trigger youngsters through his talks on Swami Vivekananda and also talk on Genetics for hours!
NMN is now starting a series of kaleidoscopic talks both live and online. He will be covering various topics like Swami Vivekananda, Cultural heritage of India, Genetics, Swami Chinmayananda, Personality development, Baba Amte, Developmental Biology, Charlie Chaplin and many more.

You are welcome to attend all his live sessions twice a month at A-16, Ruston colony, Bijalinagar road, Chinchwad, Pune. Those who want to attend online can join us on web-call. We will be intimating you in advance about the scheduled talks and the meeting link.

We are starting with the series: 'Discovering Vivekananda' from Thursday, 12th January 2023 on the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.

****************************************

As NMN is the magnet which holds on to the public irrespective of their age group, gender, vocation and field of interest his well-wishers and fan followers have been requesting him to start his own YouTube Channel. His simplicity of staying away from limelight wasn't pushing him ahead. But now that this global online platform has become strong and inevitable he has decided to go ahead with the intention of reaching out to people beyond boundaries....BUT....on one condition....He has insisted on having live sessions at A-16 (his home) which we can later publish on YouTube. As we all know he loves to have a live audience.
Isn't it a JACKPOT for all of us!?

* We will be starting 'NMN Springboard' YouTube channel only after we complete video shooting of ample sessions. *

If you are interested to get notifications of these sessions starting from 12th January you are invited to join the 'NMN Springboard' WhatsApp group. This group will allow only admins to share updates. If you have any queries you may contact the admins.

Join from the link below and stay tuned for further updates!

Have a good day!

Why should I be part of 'your' revolution?

The hero of the movie 'Buddha In A Traffic Jam' asks this question to the teacher (Anupam Kher) this question - Why should I be part of 'your' revolution?

So true it is! Without our knowledge, people show us some aim and after some time, they start telling us how it is our idea and our aim! It is ok if it happens organically and if we really start liking the aim but what if we do not like the aim?

One might follow certain aims for a variety of reasons! Like for money, for lack of other options, in helplessness, for proximity of the location from home, for friendship, out of respect, because one does not know how to say no... so on and so forth! So there are many reasons for keeping some aims. But it does not mean that after keeping the aim for sometime, everyone will forget their real aim and will continue doing what they were doing! The first opportunity one will get, they will fly away from the boring, non interesting, harmful, damaging, dangerous, illegal, immoral and degrading aims!

When we have to achieve something, we have to forget the differences and so teacher, student and aim should be one! Students should become one with an aim like Arjuna was not able to see anything else but the eye of the fish, teacher and aim does not remain different so achieving aim is following teacher and in the process the student himself becomes teacher. In this way all 3 become one - aim, teacher and student. But when the aim is not noble, the student should be intelligent enough to separate the boundaries of the teacher, himself and the aim! When a student can do that, he can ask this question - Why should I be part of 'your' revolution?

Asking such questions can be considered as wrong in Indian culture but when teacher is like character of Anupam Kher in Buddha In A Traffic Jam, know that the time has come to ask these questions at least when a student finds the aims shown by the teacher are illogical, immoral, dangerous, degrading etc.

It is such a beautiful and daring question! The Earliest meaning of word romance was 'daring' I remember Dr. Abhay Bang mentioned in one of his lectures. So in that sense this question is not only beautiful but also romantic - Why should I be part of 'your' revolution?

Number of calories per 100 grams of different food items (cooked)

Dear All,

Greetings!

The information about number of calories in isolated food items is available easily on internet. So it is not duplication of that information. However, I did not find number of calories of cooked food items easily on internet. So below I am creating a list of number of calories per 100 grams of different food items when they are cooked. This helps in getting the information readily available and based on this one can decide if they should eat a particular item or not and if yes in what quantity so that the daily calorie limit will not exceed. This is just compilation of information from different sources on internet hence there is possibility of errors in it. If you find any major error in it, please let me know. Primarily, I have created this list for my own reference and not some research purpose hence there is possibility of some minimal error in this list but that is acceptable to me. Though the list if for my own personal purpose, others reading this blog can definitely use this list if they find it useful.
