 हे डाळिंबाचे दाणे वेड्या घात तुझा करिती ॥ ध्रु० ॥

कवटी तूं कवठावरली फोडिलीस एका काळीं ती चोंच आज बोथटली
करितोस गुजारा धनी टाकितो त्या तुकड्यांवरती ॥ १ ॥

मालक तव हौशी फार करि माया जरि अनिवार कुरवाळी वारंवार तूं पाळिंव पोपट त्याचा म्हणुनी तुच्छ तुला गणिती ॥ २॥

चैनीत घेत गिरक्यांसी स्वच्छंदें वनि फिरलासी गगनांत स्वैर उडलासी ते स्वातंत्र्याचे दिन सोन्याचे आठव तू चित्तीं ॥ ३ ॥

चाहिल ते झाड बाघावें त्यावरी स्वैर उतरावें फळ दिसेल ते फोडावें मग उडुनी जावें खुशाल असली तेव्हांची रीती ॥ ४ ॥

कितितरी फळे पाडाची चोचीनें फोडायाचीं हि लीला तव नित्याची पिंजऱ्यात अडकुनि आयुष्याची झाली तव 

माती ॥ ५ ॥

पूर्वीची हिंमत गेली स्वत्वाची ओळख नुरली नादान वृत्ति तव झाली
करितोस धन्याची 'हांजी हांजी' तूं पोटासाठीं ॥ ६ ॥

येतांच धनी नाचायें नाचत त्या सत्कारावें तो वदेल तें बोलावें
तेव्हांच टाकितो मालक दाणे असले
तुजपुढतीं ॥ ७ ॥

हे दाणे दिसती छान जरि लाल आणि रसपूर्ण त्याज्य ते विषासम जाण
पिंजयात मिळती म्हणुनि तयांची मुळिं नाही
महती ॥ ८ ॥

हा अध:पात तव झाला डाळिंबच कारण याला
भुलुनिया अशा तुकड्याला
पिंजयांत मेले किती अभागी पोपट या
जगतीं ॥ ९ ॥

तप्त जिवाची तगमग सारी थांबविणारा

ऊन व्यथांचे चहूबाजूंनी रणरणता आला
आई बनते वृक्ष सावली अंथरणारा

रडून जेंव्हा जेंव्हा माझे डोळे थकले
कानी आला शब्द तिचा मन शांतवणारा

आईविण या जगात साऱ्या दुसरा नाही
माझ्यावरती हृदयच अपुले पांघरणारा

आई म्हणजे काय मला इतकेच उमगले
एक दिवा जळणारा आणिक तळमळणारा

NMN is now starting a series of kaleidoscopic talks both live and online. He will be covering various topics like Swami Vivekananda, Cultural heritage of India, Genetics, Swami Chinmayananda, Personality development, Baba Amte, Developmental Biology, Charlie Chaplin and many more. 

You are welcome to attend all his live sessions twice a month at A-16, Ruston colony, Bijalinagar road, Chinchwad, Pune. Those who want to attend online can join us on web-call. We will be intimating you in advance about the scheduled talks and the meeting link. 

We are starting with the series: 'Discovering Vivekananda' from Thursday, 12th January 2023 on the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.

His simplicity of staying away from limelight wasn't pushing him ahead.
